At Peregrine Health, we are building a community of providers dedicated to delivering high-quality, patient-centered behavioral healthcare. We believe that care should be accessible, effective, and deeply integrated into the lives of the people we serve. Our approach prioritizes long-term patient impact, ensuring that behavioral health is a fundamental part of care.

You will practice with meaningful clinical autonomy while working alongside a collaborative network of behavioral health providers, primary care teams, and operational partners. We handle much of the administrative work around licensing, credentialing, technology, and care delivery so you can focus on your patients.

What You’ll Do

  • Provide psychiatric evaluations and ongoing medication management for patients ages 5 and older.
  • Develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans aligned with patient needs and goals.
  • Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications, monitoring for effectiveness and potential side effects.
  • Diagnose and treat co-occurring behavioral health and substance use conditions.
  • Collaborate with primary care providers, therapists, and multidisciplinary teams to support whole-person care.
  • Maintain timely and accurate documentation within partner-site electronic health record systems.
  • Deliver care through telehealth while building strong, trusted relationships with patients and care teams.
  • Contribute to behavioral health programs that continue to evolve with the needs of the communities we serve.

What We’re Looking For

  • Active Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner license
  • Active DEA registration
  • At least three years of clinical experience, preferably in community-based behavioral health
  • Experience providing psychiatric medication management
  • Ability to independently manage complex cases using strong clinical judgment
  • Commitment to full-time practice
  • Strong communication and interdisciplinary collaboration skills
  • Comfort using telehealth platforms and digital clinical tools

Licensure in Arkansas, Tennessee, Kentucky, Mississippi, Texas, or Arizona is strongly preferred. Peregrine Health covers licensing fees for additional states in which you are assigned to practice.

What Defines a Peregrine Health PMHNP

You believe behavioral healthcare should be accessible, coordinated, and centered on meaningful patient outcomes.

You make confident, evidence-based clinical decisions while valuing interdisciplinary collaboration. You build trust with patients and care teams, take a proactive approach to barriers in care, and consider both medical and psychosocial factors in treatment planning.
