Job Description

Exciting position available for Licensed, Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner for our OMH licensed mental health clinic in Queens. The candidate must have experience working with children and adults in an out-patient mental health setting. The candidate will prescribe and administer medications, including medication assisted treatment for substance use disorders. The candidate will have exceptional clinical skills in diagnosis and strong expertise in the coordination, monitoring and adjustment of medication management. Responsibilities include providing diagnostic psychiatric assessments; formulate psychiatric treatment plans; provide follow-up care; and prepare and maintain medical records. Respond to psychiatric crisis situations, as needed. Complete progress notes and assessments in the electronic health record within a timely manner. Provide services in a strengths-based, recovery-oriented, trauma-informed, and culturally sensitive manner. Must be familiar with EHR documentation processes. Willingness to work using a person-centered approach as part of a clinical team with clinic therapists. Flexible hybrid schedule with some evening and/or Sunday hours required. This position is part time and can lead to full time with some remote options.

Salary: $125.00- $150.00 per hour
