Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (Outpatient)

The Position:
Our client is looking for a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to join their growing team. They are offering the following compensation and benefits:

• $110,000 - $130,000+ Depending on Experience

Requirements:

• Board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
• Active Florida license
• Two years of experience working as a PMHNP preferred but not required

Responsibilities:

• Monday – Friday (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
• Perform diagnostic assessments and evaluations as required
• Perform medication checks, evaluating the need for and appropriateness of medication, evaluating progress on medication, and assessing presence of side effects
• Complete documentation in a timely manner and include all pertinent information relating to clients and their care
• Provide adequate education to clients so they can provide fully informed consent for treatment
• Provide appropriate and adequate treatment to clients with the ideal result being remission of psychiatric symptoms
• Accomplish individual goals set forth in previous evaluation
• Adhere to legal requirements and be knowledgeable about agency and professional reporting, confidentiality, and code of ethics
• Additional responsibilities may be required
