Job Summary:

ProMedica Physicians Group (PPG) is seeking a Psychiatric

Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) in Sylvania, Ohio.

Position Highlights:

• Join a team of six psychiatrists
• Schedule- Flexible with holiday, weekend and on call requirements
• Average daily census of 35
• 100% inpatient position with responsibility of treating patients in acute mental health crises

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, diagnoses, and risk assessments.
• Develop and manage individualized treatment plans, including psychotropic medication management.
• Respond to psychiatric emergencies and provide crisis intervention.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and an interdisciplinary care team to ensure exceptional patient outcomes.
• Document care in accordance with regulatory and organizational standards.

Qualifications

• Board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC).
• Current RN license, DEA registration, and BLS certification (ACLS preferred).
• Inpatient psychiatry or acute behavioral health experience preferred.
• Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care.
