Our services include a state-of-the-art psychiatric urgent care center and a soon-to-be-built pediatric behavioral health center, outpatient, inpatient, partial hospitalization (day programs), assessment and testing, residential, addiction treatment and specialty services such as crisis response, employee assistance programs, forensic psychiatry and psychology, and neuromodulation. On-the-job educational programs for nurses, psychologists, advanced practice providers, psychiatrists, and chaplains are equipping the next generation of care providers.

What Will You Do?

Advanced Practice Professionals within this our outpatient clinics will actively participate in a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic and appropriate care is provided in a timely fashion. Successful individuals within this role will be able to provide culturally competent care to a wide range of individuals coming from diverse situations.

What Does This Role Require?

  • Licensed to practice as a Nurse Practitioner or Physicians Assistant in the state of Michigan.
  • Work requires advanced nursing knowledge and skills as acquired in the completion of a Master of Science degree in Nursing with a major in Psychiatric/Mental Health Nursing. This advanced nursing knowledge and skill will be further demonstrated by the holding of certification as a Clinical Specialist in Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing by the American Nurses Credentialing Center and the American Nurses Association.
  • Holds a Nurse Practitioner Specialty Certification by the Michigan Department of Commerce, Board of Nursing. Credentialed in accordance with medical staff rules and regulations.
