A nationally recognized construction firm with a long track record on large-scale, technically demanding projects is adding a Lead PST Operator on a contract basis to support heavy transport operations across project sites nationwide. You'd be running a 12-line Goldhofer platform — one of the larger configurations in the market — on projects where precision and experience are the only things that matter. • Anticipate $40/hour (+/-), based on experience
• Per Diem, Travel pay/reimbursements
• Anticipate 50+ hours, some weeks may be 60+ (dependent on projects/needs)
• Currently have a large pipeline of project work, across the USA (Data Center, Commercial, Industrial, Advanced Facilities, Government Facilities)
• Preferred location in the Midwest, but not a deal-breaker

• Operate a Goldhofer Powered Self-Propelled Transporter (PST) via remote control pendant to move heavy, oversized loads across project sites with precision and control
• Serve as the lead operator on-site — direct crew members through load, transport, and unload sequences from start to finish
• Assemble and disassemble PST axle modules to configure the platform correctly for each load and site condition
• Execute all transport evolutions in accordance with engineered transport plans and work orders
• Perform preventative maintenance and pre-operation inspections to keep the platform mission-ready between projects
• Identify and troubleshoot mechanical or hydraulic issues in the field — this role owns the equipment, not just the controls
• Coordinate directly with site superintendents and rigging crews on move timing, sequencing, and site safety
• Travel to project sites nationwide on a project-driven schedule — road-first, short-notice, no exceptions

Preferred Skills/Experience:

• OSHA 10 required; OSHA 30 strongly preferred
• Minimum 3–5 years of hands-on PST or SPMT operating experience
• Direct Goldhofer experience strongly preferred
• Demonstrated lead or supervisory experience directing crews through transport evolutions
• Experience on 8-line or larger PST configurations
• Working knowledge of hydraulic systems and load distribution principles
• Ability to read and execute engineered transport plans and work orders accurately
• Multi-brand PST/SPMT experience (Scheuerle, Kamag, Nicolas) a plus
• Goldhofer CLIP or equivalent control software familiarity a plus
• No CDL required
