The PSR Educator is an experienced professional responsible for the design, delivery, and evaluation of education programs that support excellence in front-end revenue operations. This role ensures consistent competency across Patient Service Representatives (PSRs) in call handling, scheduling, and registration, aligning training with Prevea's mission, strategic priorities, and operational standards. The PSR Educator serves as a subject matter expert and consultative partner to leadership, driving standardization, supporting process improvement, and enhancing the overall patient experience through effective education and workforce development.

What you will do

  • Education Strategy & Program Ownership: Design and maintain standardized training programs for onboarding and ongoing development. -Evaluate training effectiveness and adjust based on performance data and feedback. -Develop continuing education to support workflow, payer, and system changes
  • Staff Development & Coaching: Deliver training in call handling, scheduling, and registration. -Provide targeted coaching to improve performance and consistency. Support leaders in onboarding, reinforcement, and performance development
  • Practice Support & Subject Matter Expertise: Serve as a resource for front-end best practices and standards. -Partner with leaders to standardize workflows and reduce variation. -Identify gaps through observation and data; recommend training solutions. -Maintain training materials, job aids, and reference tools.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration & Change Support: Partner with operations, IT, and leadership on workflow and system changes. -Translate changes into clear training and adoption strategies. -Support initiatives related to registration, access and patient experience
  • Quality, Compliance & Continuous Improvement: Reinforce service standards and patient-centered communication. -Use performance data to inform training priorities and improvements. -Contribute to process improvement through education and root cause insights. -Ensure training aligns with regulatory, payer, and organizational requirements. -Promote adherence to documentation, privacy, and revenue cycle standards


Education Qualifications

  • High School Diploma and/or GED Required
  • Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree in healthcare, education, or related field Preferred

Experience Qualifications

  • 3-5 years experience in healthcare operations, revenue cycle, patient access, clinical support services, or related healthcare operations functions. Required
  • 1-3 years experience developing or delivering staff training, onboarding, coaching, education or workflow instruction. Required
  • Experience utilizing Epic or another electronic health record system in a healthcare environment. Preferred

  • Advanced knowledge of front-end revenue operations, including call handling, scheduling workflows, and registration processes
  • Demonstrated ability to design, deliver, and evaluate training programs with measurable impact
  • Strong consultative skills with the ability to influence without direct authority
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to analyze data and translate insights into training and process improvements
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
