Job Description

The purpose of this position is to lead, plan and monitor the engineering and maintenance teams to provide comprehensive engineering and maintenance services covering PSD system for Dubai Metro.

Roles & Responsibilities

The key tasks and responsibilities of the PSD Manager shall include:

• Assist the System Engineering Manager in the planning, management and allocation of resources to all aspects of maintenance activities covering the PSD system;
• Supervise and oversee all aspects of engineering and maintenance activities pertaining to PSD system and related infrastructure including all levels of preventive, and corrective maintenance, renewal and minor system modification works;
• Provide support, guidance and system assurance on the engineering and maintenance works of PSD system and related infrastructure within the Engineering & Maintenance Department and to the wider O&M organisation;
• Carry out 24-hour on-call responsibility for incidents and emergency within its section;
• Perform and carry out duties as instructed/ directed by the System Engineering Manager and the Engineering and Maintenance Director.
• Technical, Financial and People Accountabilities
  ● Meeting the Key Performance Indicators according to the targets agreed with the System
  Engineering Manager.
  ● Manage the PSD maintenance to ensure outputs are delivered to an appropriate standard,
  on time and within the agreed maintenance budget.

• Thorough understanding of all aspects of safety issues related to railway operations.

Experience Required

• At least, 7 years of experience in PSD field in either Project execution including Design, Installation, Testing & Commissioning or maintenance.
• Experience in Team Management is required.

Educational and Professional Qualifications

• Ideally a degree holder or high diploma in electrical or mechanical engineering discipline or equivalent.
