We are looking for a Software Engineer to join our Development team. This opportunity will be based in Athens, Greece.

& Key Areas of Responsibilities

  • Develop high-quality code based on provided specifications.
  • Provide expertise on the deployment and use of the NCR Software.
  • Actively participate in coding, unit testing, and debugging.
  • Support QA processes and ensure software quality standards.
  • Collaborate with the development team to troubleshoot issues in development and production environments, optimize performance, and fine-tune code.
  • Working in conjunction with engineering teams to implement and support self-service software solutions based on the NCR APTRA family of solutions.
  • Work closely with customers remotely and on-site, participating in gap analysis and requirements.

Basic Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of relevant working experience.
  • Bachelor’s and/ or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or any other related field.
  • Knowledge and experience in JavaScript, HTML5 and CSS3.
  • Knowledge in C# .NET is a plus.
  • Ability to review logs and traces.
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Proven ability to design and develop large scale, complex applications.
  • Ability to work from rudimentary requirements and specifications.
  • Exposure and previous experience on ATM / POS Application terminals an advantage.
  • Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills.
  • Fluent communication in English language, in both verbally and written.
