PS RCP Digital Innovation Specialist

POSITION PURPOSE:

We are seeking a high‑impact Product Supply Digital Innovation Lead to drive digital and AI‑enabled innovation across Bayer’s Seed Production in Asia.

This role is responsible for leading the design, co‑development, and scaling of digital and AI‑enabled products—including solutions for smallholder field production and AI‑based products for seed and traits supply. Working closely with Digital, Engineering, Data Science, Agronomy, and Business teams, the Innovation Lead balances deep technical understanding with strong commercial and operational value delivery.

As a Digital Innovation Lead, you will own the end‑to‑end product lifecycle from insight and discovery through deployment, iteration, and scale. You will help shape a new AgTech value engine from first principles, influence innovation and product strategy, and deliver solutions that create emotional confidence for users, measurable economic value, and meaningful impact at scale.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Digital Product & Innovation Leadership

• Lead digital innovations and AI‑enabled products across field production and seed & traits supply
• Own product vision, roadmap, prioritization, and lifecycle management aligned with business priorities and customer needs
• Take products from 0 → 1 → scale, driving speed, clarity, and learning velocity
• Influence product and business strategy by balancing desirability, feasibility, and viability

2. Technology, AI & Innovation

• Design and deploy AI‑enabled, predictive, and analytics‑driven solutions to reduce variability and improve operational performance
• Partner with Engineering and Data Science to design agentic workflows, define decision boundaries, and build autonomous AI capabilities
• Translate complex agronomic, remote sensing, geospatial, and behavioral data into clear, scalable digital products
• Continuously scan external technology and AgTech trends to identify opportunities for growth and differentiation

3. Business Value & Performance

• Build robust value cases linking product decisions to measurable P&L, productivity, and operational outcomes
• Monitor product and innovation metrics; define hypotheses, experiments, and iterations based on evidence
• Track transformation value and ensure alignment with global standards and best practices
• Influence stakeholders to take bold innovation bets while maintaining execution discipline

4. Cross‑Functional Collaboration & Adoption

• Work closely with Engineering, Data Science, Design, User Research, Agronomy, and Product Operations teams to deliver high‑quality, user‑centric products
• Bridge physical operations and digital solutions to ensure strong adoption and sustained usage
• Collaborate with Operations, Sales, Marketing, Finance Ops, and Legal to shape go‑to‑market strategies through product
• Build and manage internal and external innovation partnerships across the digital ecosystem

WHO YOU ARE:

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data, Life Sciences, or a related technical field
• Master’s degree in Business (MBA or equivalent) from a Tier I institution preferred

Experience

• 3 years+ of experience in digital product management, AgTech, manufacturing, supply chain, or related environments
• Proven track record of co‑creating and scaling digital or AI‑enabled products with sustained user adoption
• Experience building products for farmers, agricultural ecosystems, or low‑digital‑literacy user segments

Technical & Business Skills

• Strong understanding of AI, data, analytics, and digital platforms applied to physical operations
• Hands‑on experience with Digital Product Development using remote sensing, agronomic, and geospatial datasets
• Ability to synthesize customer insights, business needs, and system constraints into clear product requirements
• Strong financial and analytical skills with the ability to connect product decisions to P&L impact
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and collaboration skills
• Global mindset with fluency in English and ability to operate across cultures
