This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a PS Consultant IV - Java/Salesforce based in India.
This is an exciting opportunity for a senior technology consultant to design and deliver innovative digital banking solutions while working with complex enterprise platforms. The role combines technical expertise, solution architecture, customer engagement, and team leadership to support successful implementations for financial institutions. You will collaborate with customers, partners, developers, and quality teams to translate business requirements into scalable configurations, customizations, and integrations. The position offers the chance to work on impactful projects within a fast-evolving digital banking environment, leveraging Java, Salesforce, APIs, and cloud technologies. Ideal candidates will bring strong problem-solving skills, technical depth, and the ability to bridge business needs with technology solutions.
Accountabilities:
- Participate in technical discovery sessions with customers to understand business requirements, assess solution fit, and identify implementation gaps.
- Design and deliver solutions using configurations, customizations, integrations, and technical enhancements within platform capabilities.
- Lead implementation teams consisting of Salesforce developers, UI developers, and quality analysts to ensure successful delivery aligned with sprint plans.
- Review technical designs and code to maintain quality, scalability, and adherence to development standards.
- Architect and develop solutions for complex business requirements, integrations, and enterprise application needs.
- Collaborate with customers and partners throughout the project lifecycle, including requirements analysis, solution design, sprint reviews, user acceptance testing, production cutover, and transition support.
- Mentor and guide newly onboarded Salesforce developers on configurations, customizations, integrations, and development best practices.
- Act as a technical point of contact for resolving delivery issues raised through support channels.
- Identify recurring business needs and technical solutions that can be incorporated into future product enhancements.
- Support agile delivery practices and contribute to continuous improvement across implementation processes.
Requirements
- 9+ years of experience developing software solutions using object-oriented programming languages, preferably Java.
- 5+ years of experience working with design patterns and handling complex integration requirements across cloud and on-premise environments using web services.
- Strong experience in business analysis, requirements gathering, solution design, and enterprise application delivery.
- Hands-on experience with Java development, object-oriented programming concepts, and scalable software architecture.
- Experience with Salesforce technologies, including Apex classes, triggers, Lightning Web Components, and SFDX CLI, is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of APIs, enterprise integrations, authentication, authorization, security concepts, and application protocols.
- Experience working with GitHub or other version control systems.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and software development lifecycle practices.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities with excellent attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical teams and business stakeholders.
- Experience in the banking or financial services domain is preferred but not mandatory.
