This role sits within the Global Regulatory Policy and Advisory (GRP&A) team, which establishes HSBC’s interpretations of prudential requirements under regulations implementing Basel standards across jurisdictions. The position focuses primarily on European prudential rules.
You’ll maintain and develop part of the policy interpretation library, provide detailed analysis on the regulatory treatment of products and transactions, and act as a subject matter expert (SME) on capital, risk-weighted assets (RWAs) and leverage to support a broad range of stakeholders.
