Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and multidisciplinary Prudential Regulation and Strategy Analyst Intern to join our team. This role is ideal for a student with a strong foundation in public policy and economics, who also brings creativity, leadership, and cross-cultural communication skills. You will contribute to research, data and regulation analysis, and strategic initiatives that support our mission in regulatory engagement, both internally and externally.

Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the team's external advocacy efforts and internal preparation engagement on forthcoming prudential regulation (e.g. the Solvency II review and the Insurance Recovery and Resolution Directive) and the removal of trade barriers to cross-border reinsurance globally.
  • Assist the team on various workstreams (e.g. coordination of data collect exercises).
  • Track and share prudential regulation and market access developments. Navigate regulatory texts.
  • Support the drafting of position papers, internal briefings, and regulatory analysis.
  • Participate in meetings with internal stakeholders and external regulatory bodies as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a Master's degree in management, political science, or a related field.
  • Strong interest in European financial regulation, Public affairs, Economics and Insurance.
  • Excellent analytical and writing skills.
  • Familiarity with Excel and interest in project management are assets.
