The Human Trafficking Advisor, reporting to the Manager Anti-Human Trafficking Initiatives, supports the implementation of the Human Trafficking Task Force recommendations and the ongoing work of the Alberta Centre to End Trafficking in Persons (the AC). The advisor works closely with other staff in the branch, other divisions, ministries, cross-governmental and external stakeholders.
Key responsibilities include:
The role requires strategic thinking, collaboration, and engagement with various stakeholders to achieve outcomes. The advisor supports high-level decision-making on multiple projects and must be self-motivated, with strong judgment, interpretive, and communication skills, and the ability to adapt in a dynamic environment.
