The Provider Operations Coordinator supports the operational, technical, and administrative needs of a physician service line, with a focus on onboarding and scheduling systems coordination. This role bridges clinical operations, and IT systems, to ensure providers are effectively integrated into telehealth environments and operating efficiently

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate onboarding and orientation for physicians and providers, including setup and training on telehealth platforms, audiovisual (AV) systems, EMR, and communication tools

  • Serve as a liaison between clinical teams, IT, and operations to ensure seamless system access and functionality

  • Support physician scheduling processes and assist with staffing models and forecasting to meet service demand

  • Monitor provider utilization and contribute to workforce planning efforts

  • Ensure compliance with organizational standards, documentation requirements, and system usage protocols

  • Maintain and evaluate demand and supply models to forecast trends and optimize planning strategies.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare administration, or related field (or equivalent experience)

  • Experience in healthcare operations, telehealth, or clinical systems- EMR familiarity strongly preferred

  • Experience in physician scheduling strongly preferred

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment

  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
