The role

The Provider Credentialing & Enrollment Specialist is responsible for managing the end-to-end process of provider credentialing and payer enrollment. This role ensures that healthcare providers are properly verified, compliant with regulatory and client requirements, and successfully onboarded into payer networks. The position requires strong attention to detail, process ownership, and the ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced Healthcare BPO environment.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Process provider credentialing and re-credentialing in accordance with client and regulatory standards
  • Manage end-to-end provider enrollment with insurance payers, ensuring timely and accurate submissions
  • Verify provider credentials including licenses, certifications, and work history
  • Track application status and follow up with payers to ensure completion within defined timelines
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date provider records in internal systems
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, policies, and client requirements
  • Coordinate with internal teams (e.g., onboarding, compliance, client services) for seamless provider setup
  • Identify and escalate issues or delays impacting enrollment and credentialing timelines

What we're looking for:

  • At least 1 year Healthcare BPO experience with credentialing and provider enrollment (required)
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Educational background:
    • Senior High School Graduate, or
    • College Undergraduate (minimum 2 years completed), or
    • College Graduate
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Familiarity with healthcare systems, payer processes, or credentialing platforms is an advantage
