
The Provider Clinical Rotations & Recruitment Specialist supports the strategic growth of Springfield Clinic by managing clinical rotations and building proactive provider pipelines. This role oversees the placement, onboarding, and experience of high school, college, and medical students, residents, fellows, and advanced practice providers (APPs), while also contributing to recruitment initiatives, event planning, sourcing, and relationship management with academic partners and preceptors.

Principal Responsibilities
· Coordinate clinical placements, background checks, paperwork, and onboarding for all high school, college, medical students, residents, fellows, CRNA students, APRN students, and PA students rotating through Springfield Clinic.
· Manage rotation logistics including student shadows and specialty-specific placements (CRNA, APRN, PA, and MD students).
· Maintain rotation inbox and ensure timely communication and issue resolution.
· Develop and maintain a regular cadence of communication with academic programs.
· Provide personalized engagement with students (e.g., welcome materials, cards, surveys, feedback collection).
· Support the integration experience through coordination of introductions with provider recruitment, leadership, and clinic providers.
· Monitor and support preceptor relationships in collaboration with the Director of Advanced Practice.
· Build and maintain recruitment pipelines for APRN, PA, CRNA, and MD students rotating through Springfield Clinic.
· Partner with provider recruitment and leadership to align pipeline development with future hiring needs.
· Track candidate interest and engagement, and transition qualified leads to recruiter partners.
· Assist with provider recruitment inbox management and communication coordination.
· Support candidate experience through coordination of gifts, itineraries, and scheduling needs.
· Provide backup support for recruitment activities such as interview logistics, meals, and candidate transportation.
· Research and recommend sponsorships, campus events, career fairs (virtual and onsite), and professional conferences.
· Coordinate logistics including registration, vendor communication, materials, and travel arrangements.
· Plan and execute Springfield Clinic–hosted recruitment events (e.g., dinners, regional networking events).
· Manage venue selection, student invitations, and collaboration with marketing and academic partners.
· Assist in the design, ordering, and inventory management of recruitment materials, giveaways, signage, and literature.
· Research and propose new promotional items aligned with recruitment strategy.
· Collaborate with Marketing on branding, printed materials, and event collateral.
· Conduct data mining from match lists, resume databases, and other sourcing tools to identify potential candidates.
· Maintain accurate contact and demographic data for pipeline development.
· Support mass outreach campaigns by organizing and passing qualified leads to recruitment team members.
· Maintain databases and tracking tools, ensuring data accuracy and reporting readiness.
· Develop learning modules, webinars, and onboarding resources for rotating providers.
· Participate in new provider orientation activities as needed.
· Manage special projects as assigned.
· Ensure all interactions reflect Springfield Clinic’s standards of quality and professionalism.
· Comply with incident reporting policies, OSHA standards, and required training.
· Provide excellent customer service and adhere to Springfield Clinic’s Code of Conduct and Ethics Standards.
· Perform additional duties as assigned.
Education/Experience
· Bachelor’s degree and one year of related experience preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
· Prior healthcare experience preferred, with knowledge of the physician and provider community.
