Prototyping Engineer
- Support evaluation and analysis of manufacturing processes in cutting, sewing, and module assembly areas.
- Assist in troubleshooting product and process issues on the shop floor with guidance from senior engineers.
- Support development of process sheets and manufacturing documentation.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency and waste reduction.
- Provide support during site audits involving prototype activities.
- Participate in site initiatives such as APS Week, Family Day, and Safety Week.
- Actively participate in APS committees.
- Ensure compliance and support adherence to Quality, Environmental, and Safety Management System requirements (objectives, policies, legal requirements, etc.).
- Perform Jidoka (stop and notify) when necessary; safety and quality issues must be escalated immediately.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Mechatronics or related field)
• Advanced English
• Minimum of 2 years of prior experience in process or production areas.
• Interpretation of technical drawings (GD&T preferred).
• Exposure to manufacturing systems (PLM, L2L) is a plus.
• Knowledge of problem-solving tools (8D, Ishikawa).
