The Prototype Project Coordinator I will assist with the planning and coordination of projects and their activities. The role will ensure implementation of processes and practices. The Prototype Project Coordinator I will maintain and track data and schedules for relevant projects. This position is located onsite in Romeo, MI.

As Prototype Project Coordinator I, you will:
  • Assist with planning, scheduling, and coordinating office and shop activity and relay customer
  • expectations
  • Assist in developing and executing small project plans
  • Complete milestones on time and within budget, work with the cross-functional team to ensure
  • deliverables
  • Review data from customers, suppliers, and create reports
  • Coordinate assignments for subcontractors and monitor performance of vendors
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
To be as considered a Prototype Project Coordinator I, you will need:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Detail oriented, effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Good customer service skills, reliable attendance and ability to work overtime
  • Ability to follow directions, learn new skills and technologies, multi-task in a fast-paced work environment
  • Ability to compile lessons learned for continuous quality development
  • Basic computer skills (Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel)
A successful candidate may also have:
  • Associate degree in Business or related
  • Intermediate excel experience
  • Knowledge of vehicles
  • Ability to work overtime as needed, including weekends
