As a Prototype Assembler, you will perform several electronic or electro-mechanical assembly tasks to support developmental requirements in pre-production projects. You will work from rough schematics, blueprints, and oral instructions to construct developmental assemblies, sub-assemblies, and components. You may perform rework and quality testing. You will typically include interaction with development and manufacturing engineering personnel. You will report to the Production Supervisor and this position is located in Monterrey, Manufacturing.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Perform several electronic or electro-mechanical assembly tasks to support developmental requirements in pre-production projects.
  • Work from rough schematics, blueprints, and oral instructions to construct developmental assemblies, sub-assemblies, and components.
  • May perform rework and quality testing.
  • Work on routine assignments requiring limited judgment.
  • Interact daily with peers and internal customers to exchange or present factual information.

The Essentials - You Will Have:

  • Technician High School diploma or equivalent. (or 6 months experience in a similar positions)
  • Reading electrical diagrams
  • Wiring experience
  • Schedule availability.
  • Typically requires no previous related experience.
