Delivered in partnership with Action Contre La Faim (ACF) and ACTED, the program focuses on scaling forecast-based, early action systems to improve disaster preparedness and response nationwide.

As the central coordination lead, you will drive consortium performance, ensure high-quality program delivery, and maintain strong alignment with donor and strategic priorities. You will act as the primary focal point for partners, government stakeholders, and donors, ensuring cohesive implementation and impactful outcomes.

What You Will Do

Consortium Leadership & Coordination

  • Lead day-to-day coordination of the consortium through the Program Management Unit

  • Drive effective governance, planning, and decision-making across partners

  • Facilitate collaboration, joint problem-solving, and alignment of technical approaches

  • Oversee implementation of consortium work plans and ensure coherence across all partners

Stakeholder Engagement & Advocacy

  • Serve as the primary external representative to government, donors, UN agencies, and INGOs

  • Strengthen partnerships with key government institutions and coordination platforms

  • Lead advocacy efforts to institutionalize anticipatory action within national systems

  • Build strategic relationships to enhance influence, visibility, and impact

Program Quality, MEAL & Learning

  • Ensure strong monitoring, evaluation, accountability, and learning (MEAL) systems

  • Drive evidence generation, knowledge sharing, and cross-learning across partners

  • Oversee high-quality reporting (monthly, quarterly, and donor reports)

  • Promote adaptive management using data, insights, and lessons learned

Program Delivery & Compliance

  • Ensure high-quality, timely, and compliant program implementation

  • Oversee donor compliance (ECHO), reporting, and contractual obligations

  • Lead budget oversight, forecasting, and value-for-money approaches

  • Support resource mobilization through proposal development and strategic positioning

Why Join CARE?

This is a unique opportunity to lead a high-impact, multi-agency initiative shaping the future of anticipatory action in Bangladesh. You will work at the forefront of humanitarian innovation, influencing systems that save lives before disasters strike.
