The Role
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Consortium Coordinator to lead the ECHO-funded PROTISTHAA initiative—an ambitious program strengthening anticipatory action systems across Bangladesh. Delivered in partnership with Action Contre La Faim (ACF) and ACTED, the program focuses on scaling forecast-based, early action systems to improve disaster preparedness and response nationwide.
As the central coordination lead, you will drive consortium performance, ensure high-quality program delivery, and maintain strong alignment with donor and strategic priorities. You will act as the primary focal point for partners, government stakeholders, and donors, ensuring cohesive implementation and impactful outcomes.
What You Will Do
Consortium Leadership & Coordination
Lead day-to-day coordination of the consortium through the Program Management Unit
Drive effective governance, planning, and decision-making across partners
Facilitate collaboration, joint problem-solving, and alignment of technical approaches
Oversee implementation of consortium work plans and ensure coherence across all partners
Stakeholder Engagement & Advocacy
Serve as the primary external representative to government, donors, UN agencies, and INGOs
Strengthen partnerships with key government institutions and coordination platforms
Lead advocacy efforts to institutionalize anticipatory action within national systems
Build strategic relationships to enhance influence, visibility, and impact
Program Quality, MEAL & Learning
Ensure strong monitoring, evaluation, accountability, and learning (MEAL) systems
Drive evidence generation, knowledge sharing, and cross-learning across partners
Oversee high-quality reporting (monthly, quarterly, and donor reports)
Promote adaptive management using data, insights, and lessons learned
Program Delivery & Compliance
Ensure high-quality, timely, and compliant program implementation
Oversee donor compliance (ECHO), reporting, and contractual obligations
Lead budget oversight, forecasting, and value-for-money approaches
Support resource mobilization through proposal development and strategic positioning
