What You’ll Be Doing:

Join Dulux Protective Coatings as a Protective Coatings Trade Specialist and play a key role in driving growth across Victoria while helping customers protect and extend the life of critical infrastructure and assets. As part of a collaborative and high-performing team, you will build meaningful partnerships with the Dulux Victorian Trade and Stores team, industrial applicators, blast yards, commercial builders, engineers, architects, and project managers, delivering trusted solutions that create long-term value.

This is an exciting opportunity for a relationship-focused sales professional who enjoys training, support & development, uncovering new business opportunities, influencing project specifications, securing long-term contracts, and making a tangible impact on customer success. Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the Victorian Trade Sales team to service customer Protective Coatings requirements
  • Supporting Victorian stores and distribution network to service customer Protective Coatings requirements
  • Provide Protective Coatings related training and support to relative stakeholders
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, contractors, specifiers, and key industry stakeholders across Victoria.
  • Identify and secure new business opportunities to drive sustainable sales growth and market share.
  • Influence project specifications and promote Dulux Protective Coatings solutions across key projects.
  • Develop and manage a portfolio of accounts, delivering exceptional customer service and long-term value.
  • Analyse market trends and territory opportunities to achieve sales targets, strengthen profitability, and support strategic business growth.

What We’re Looking for:

  • Proven sales experience in developing new business and growing key customer accounts.
  • Experience in protective coatings, paint, industrial coatings, or a related industry is highly regarded.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders and customers.
  • Commercial acumen with a track record of identifying opportunities and driving business growth.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills.
  • Ability to manage a territory independently, including occasional regional travel, while fostering an inclusive and customer-focused approach.
  • Ability to train and support key stakeholders on Protective Coatings products
