Job Title: Protection Engineer (Kahramaa Approved)
Job Purpose:
The Protection Engineer will be responsible for handling protection engineering activities in compliance with Kahramaa standards, ensuring safe, reliable, and approved protection systems for electrical projects. The role requires holding a valid Kahramaa LOA and applying engineering expertise to protection-related tasks.
Key Responsibilities
Perform protection engineering activities in line with Kahramaa regulations and guidelines
Prepare, review, and manage protection-related engineering documents and submissions
Ensure all protection designs and calculations meet approved standards
Coordinate with internal teams, consultants, and authorities for approvals
Support project execution related to protection engineering scope
Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and engineering best practices
Educational Qualification:
Bachelors Degree in Engineering (Electrical or relevant discipline)
Total Experience Required:
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in protection engineering
Experience Certification
Kahramaa LOA (Letter of Approval) – Mandatory
Job Location: As per project/site requirements - Doha / Ras Laffan
Employment Type: 3 months contract & extendable
