A Snapshot of Your Day

Lead end-to-end execution of 220 kV GIS/AIS substation projects, ensuring safe, profitable and on-time delivery in compliance with customer, contractual, quality and EHS requirements.

How You'll Make an Impact

• Testing, commissioning, operation, and maintenance of numerical and conventional protection relays in EHV substations.
• Performing relay testing, relay coordination studies, relay setting verification, and protection system validation.
• Troubleshooting and analysis of protection system malfunctions, relay operations, and electrical faults.
• Maintenance and testing of protection panels, control panels, disturbance recorders, fault recorders, and annunciation systems.
• Conducting preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of protection and control systems.
• Testing and maintenance of CTs, PTs/CVTs, circuit breakers, power transformers, auxiliary transformers, and associated protection schemes.
• Analysis of fault records, event logs, relay indications, and tripping incidents.
• Ensuring compliance with applicable standards, operating procedures, and customer requirements.
• Preparation of technical reports, maintenance records, relay test reports, and root cause analysis reports.
• Coordination with operation, maintenance, and commissioning teams for planned shutdowns and restoration activities.
• Ensuring strict adherence to EHS requirements, PTW, LOTO, and electrical safety procedures.

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in the field of Relay Testing, Testing & Commissioning, and Operation & Maintenance of EHV Substations and associated electrical equipment.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a responsible position in the maintenance and operation of electrical substations or power plants.
• Hands-on experience in testing and commissioning of numerical relays from Siemens, ABB, GE, Schneider, SEL, or equivalent manufacturers.
• Good knowledge of transmission and distribution systems, protection schemes, and substation automation systems.

Our product portfolio includes AIS (upto 800 kV), GIS (upto 420 kV), Power Transformers (upto 765 kV, 500 MVA), Reactors (upto 765 kV), Traction Transformers (upto 33 kV, 10 MVA). We provide EPC for high and extra high voltage projects pertinent to AIS/GIS, Flexible Alternating Current Transmission System (FACTS) devices and High Voltage Direct Current Voltage Source Converter (HVDC VSC) technology. Further, we off er an extensive range of services for the complete lifecycle of the High Voltage /Extra High Voltage asset and projects including bay extension, substation modernisation, product retrofitting and overhauling, emergency services, breakdown services, Long Term Service Agreements (LTSAs), maintenance contracts, O&M contracts and spares.
