We are seeking a qualified Protection Engineer to handle protection relay configuration, testing, and commissioning activities, with a strong focus on SIP 4 relays, for an oil & gas facility.
Configuration, testing, and commissioning of SIP 4 protection relays
Perform relay settings, secondary injection testing, and fault analysis
Review protection schemes and ensure compliance with project requirements
Coordinate with switchgear and commissioning teams during testing activities
Troubleshoot protection system issues and provide technical solutions
Prepare testing reports, relay settings documentation, and as-built records
Ensure all activities comply with safety and quality standards
Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering
Minimum 5+ years of experience in protection engineering
Strong hands-on experience with SIP 4 relays
Oil & gas or industrial project experience preferred
Proficiency in English communication
Contract-based availability for site deployment
Contract: 2 Months
