You‘ll make a difference by

· Analyze the technical information of the project by reading the project specification, project scope of work, single line diagram, Protection logic diagram, existing system data and required technical clarification either internally or externally with the customer.

· Customer Site Visit, Analyze the solution for the Retrofit design, preparation of site survey reports, method of statement and risk assessment /SAT formats.

· Good knowledge required on Siemens Siprotec-4, Siprotec-5, Reyrolle product and RTU/SCMS/FMS components.

· Good knowledge Cubicle type: Swing Frame, Fixed Frame, Dead Front etc.

· Prepare Base Designs documents as per the Siemens engineering standards.

• AC/DC load, CT&VT adequacy check, Technical Data sheet, Specification compliance.
• Protection Relay List / SCMS / FMS / RTU equipment list.
• SCMS architecture, Signal list, FDS, Cable schedule etc.

· Prepare and guide the assistants to prepare the Detailed Design documents for Protection /FMS/RTU /SCMS panels as per the Siemens engineering standards.

• General arrangement, Scheme drawing, Terminal plan, Label list, Wiring Table, Ferrules list as per the Siemens engineering standards by using software tools A-CAD, ELCAD, EBASE, MS Visio.
• Retrofit design on the PDF scheme pages as per customer requirement.
• Preparation for ordering BOQ based on the design approval.
• As manufactured drawing and as built drawings update.

· Preparation for of RFQ documents to factory and submit to project manager.

· Review and Coordinate Factory Issued Construction documents, address to the factory for any clarifications, under the guidance of the Engineering Manager/Application Manager.

· Process internally and externally design change requests during the execution of the project.

· Attend the vendor meetings, customer meetings, factory visits for design reviews, inspections,

factory tests and site topics related to engineering with the Engineering Manager/Application

Manager/ project manager.

· Keep a constant communication with the Engineering Manager/Application Manager reporting

pending issues and the status of handled project design.

· Control and actively influence the execution of the forecasted engineering schedule in terms of

design.

Your success is grounded in

· Bachelor Engineering degree from local or international University or Technical Institute in Electrical Engineering disciplines

· Good communication skills in English language (written and spoken) with the ability to work in a team environment.

· Min 5 to 8 years’ experience in Protection & Automation Designs is a must.

· Software skill set hands-on experience in A-CAD, ELCAD, EBASE, MS Visio.
