Position Specific Description
As a P&C Engineer, you with work operations and engineering to achieve safe and reliable operation of Lone Star system, which includes troubleshooting and maintenance of protective relaying systems, new construction projects, substation upgrades, substation integration & automation systems, substation control systems, remote terminal units, digital fault recorder, etc. The ideal candidate will be able to ensure compliance to NERC (PRC, CIP), TRE and ERCOT reliability standards, guidelines and protocols for substation equipment.
Main office location for this position will be in Mansfield, TX (Or Abilene, TX) and will travel to Lone Star substations as needed, including occasional travel to support other NEET business units outside Texas.

This job is responsible for evaluating, selecting, and applying standard techniques, procedures, and criteria to perform tasks. This position conducts analysis on system performance and reliability strategy and provides recommendations.
