SCOPE OF WORK:

The International Rescue Committee is seeking dynamic and self-motivated individuals for the position of Protection Cash Management IMS officer to lead the case management data and coordinate with the case management team for the current response in the three districts of Punjab and ICT. The Protection Case Management IMS Officer will ensure that all SOPs and guidelines of the case management process for an assigned number of individuals and people of concern are exposed to abuse, exploitation, neglect, and violence in this process. Key of the tasks for the position holder may include, but are not limited to, the following:

Job Responsibilities:

• Apply and adhere to the guiding principles of working with the information of survivors at risk, including respect, dignity, security, and confidentiality.
• Responsible for making ‘Do No Harm” the center of all interventions.
• Ensure timely data collection from the case workers in collaboration with the CMS and PM and provide guidelines according to CM guidelines and Standard Operating Procedures.
• Ensure that the monthly data analysis report and the protection risk trend analysis are drafted and shared.
• Ensure data compliance on the PCM dashboard and timely data collection in support of caseworkers through CommCare.
• Regularly liaise with the Protection team for support and case conferencing with the relevant Protection Manager.
• Participate in the project meetings to share regular updates, e.g., the number of open and closed cases and major categories, including trend analysis through the case management database.
• Identify gaps in services or risks the survivor shares and report these to the protection manager.
• Participate in relevant training and capacity-building events organized by IRC or as per the nominations to participate in other events.
• Ensure that the data registered in the files and computers is safe and kept confidential.
• Manage incident recorders for GBV/CP cases referred to and coordinate with the MIS team.
• Perform any other tasks as may be assigned by the supervisor.

Job Requirements:

Masters or Bachelors in Computer Sciences, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Statistics, or any other relevant field.

Work Experience:

• Should have at least 02 years of field experience in Protection Case Management or Child Protection, GBV, preferably during emergencies or disasters.
• Ability to work under pressure in an unstable security environment. Able to handle critical information with strict confidentiality.

Demonstrated Skills and Competencies:

• Understanding of managing protection case management programs, including implementing the survivors center approach.
• Flexibility to work in a diverse, multicultural team respecting Pakistani culture and norms.
• Ability and experience coordinating with government and CSOs.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Flexible attitude towards receiving feedback.
• Knowledge of issues relating to community involvement and empowerment.

Language

Good written and spoken English and Urdu skills. Knowledge of Pashto languages is beneficial.

Key working relations

Position Reports to: Project Manager Protection

Position Coordinates With (Internal): Sr. Manager Protection and Case Workers.

Position Coordinates With (External): Relevant stakeholders and service providers.

Note: The interviews will be conducted on rolling basis, and only shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview.
