Primary Duties and Responsibilities

The Sr. Prosthetist Orthotist provides prosthetic and/or orthotic evaluations, treatments, consultations, and recommendations to patients, physicians, other healthcare professionals, and the general public. This includes obtaining prescriptions, evaluating patients, formulating treatments, casting and/or measuring patients, and fabricating and fitting prosthetic and/or orthotic devices. The Sr. Prosthetist Orthotist is certified and in good standing with the American Board for Certification in Orthotics and Prosthetics. He/she holds the title CPO. P&O staff working with CCS patients shall be CCS paneled or directly supervised by a CCS paneled staff member. Holders of this job class are required to provide service to multiple entities and sites affiliated with the UCLA Healthcare Network, including the Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center, S anta Monica/UCLA Medical Center and Orthopaedic Hospital , and multiple UCLA Health outpatient rehab clinics.


Salary: $48.39 - $63.84/ hour


Job Qualifications

  • CPO as designated by the American Board for Certification in Orthotics and Prosthetics
  • Valid CA Driver's License (as driving between locations is required daily)
  • CPR Certified by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
