Help us find and bring in new science customers as a Prospecting Specialist for our Chemistries & Supplies Division. In this role, you will focus entirely on building our sales pipeline and finding new opportunities in labs, pharmaceutical companies, and research centers. You won't have your own individual sales target assigned to you to worry about; instead, you win when the whole team wins by handing over great leads that turn into successful deals.

Key Responsibilities

Prospect Identification & Market Intelligence

  • Research and map potential customers across target industries, including Pharmaceutical, Biopharma, Chemical, Environmental, Food, Academia, and CROs.
  • Spot competitive accounts and uncover high-value conversion opportunities.
  • Feed actionable market insights and customer intelligence back to the broader sales organization.

Lead Generation & Multi-Channel Outreach

  • Execute dynamic, multi-channel prospecting campaigns via phone, email, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
  • Identify brand-new customer contacts and build robust pipeline value.

Lead Qualification & CRM Management

  • Assess customer applications, purchasing authority, budget, and timing.
  • Qualify leads thoroughly before executing a seamless handoff to Remote and Field Account Managers.
  • Maintain pristine data integrity and activity tracking within Salesforce CRM.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Volume & Value: Number of qualified opportunities created, pipeline value generated (USD), and new customer contacts identified.
  • Activity & Efficiency: Outbound call volume and opportunity-to-won-deal conversion rates.

Qualifications

Required Skills & Experience

Education & Background

  • Degree in Chemistry or Life Sciences, with a strong desire to transition into a commercial sales career.
  • Hands-on experience with CRM platforms (Salesforce preferred).
  • Proficiency with LinkedIn Sales Navigator and digital prospecting tools.

Language Requirements

  • Spanish and Italian: Fluent written and verbal communication skills are essential.
  • English: Professional working proficiency required for cross-border collaboration, team meetings, and CRM documentation.
