Responsible for overseeing wheelchair assistance operations at Milwaukee Mitchell International Airport (MKE), ensuring efficient service from curbside through aircraft boarding and arrival. Supervise daily operations, coordinate with airline partners, and resolve operational issues to maintain on-time performance, high service standards, and a positive passenger experience. Lead frontline employees, monitor workflow, and ensure compliance with safety, customer service, and airport procedures.

Job Duties:
Supervise daily wheelchair assistance operations across all airport terminals and gates.
Coordinate passenger assistance from curbside check-in through boarding, deplaning, and baggage claim.
Lead, coach, and support wheelchair attendants to ensure exceptional customer service and operational efficiency.
Assign staff based on flight schedules, passenger volume, and operational needs.
Monitor employee attendance, productivity, and adherence to company and airline policies.
Serve as the primary point of contact for airline partners to address service requests, operational changes, and passenger concerns.
Respond to and resolve customer service issues, employee concerns, and operational challenges in a timely and professional manner.
Ensure compliance with TSA, airport, airline, and company safety and security regulations.
Conduct shift briefings and communicate important operational updates to team members.
Monitor flight schedules and adjust staffing to accommodate delays, cancellations, and peak travel periods.
Complete daily operational reports, incident documentation, and performance tracking.
Train and mentor new employees on safety procedures, customer service expectations, and operational standards.
Collaborate with airport management and airline representatives to improve service quality and operational performance.
Maintain a safe, organized, and professional work environment while promoting teamwork and accountability.
Qualifications:
 * High School diploma or GED.
 * Must be at least 18 years of age.
 * Must be able to obtain credentials required as per airport or state or customs requirements.
 * Proficient in English.
Physical requirements:
 * Must be able to frequently lift, move up to 70 lbs; Constantly push, pull up to 70 lbs; and constantly walk, stand, reach above shoulder, climb, crawl, stoop, squat, kneel, & bend.
Working conditions:
 * Must be able to work in rotating shifts and hours, nights, weekends and holidays, overtime.
 * Must be able and open to work in outside weather conditions which may include severe seasonal elements.
