THE JOB:
Blue Man Group is looking for a creative, hands-on Props Technician to help bring our one-of-a-kind show to life. Working with our Props team and other departments, you'll support performances, rehearsals, and maintenance to help deliver the unforgettable experience our audiences love. THE STARTING RATE: $39.26 / Per Hour

SCHEDULE: On-call, varied shifts to support based on business needs with the primary focus on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday between the hours of 1:45PM - 10:00PM. Shows run 7 days a week so this is subject to change.

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Run cue tracks and operate show props as directed for performances, artist training, and maintenance
• Inspect and maintain show props and related equipment
• Update maintenance and inspection records as directed by departmental leadership
• Maintain cue track documentation and take part in cue track rotation as directed by departmental leadership
• Participate in required safety classes and emergency rescue training
• Collaborate on special projects, including building and installing new show props and puppet elements

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
• Three (3) years of experience in a professional theatrical environment as a props technician with an in-depth knowledge of theatrical props for large scale productions
• Able to work varied shifts to include weekends and holidays
