This role plays a key part in driving the successful acquisition and delivery of clinical research projects by leading end-to-end proposal and contract processes. You will operate at the intersection of business development, operations, legal, and finance, ensuring high-quality responses to RFPs and well-structured contractual agreements. The position requires close collaboration with subject matter experts and global stakeholders to build competitive proposals that meet both client expectations and internal standards. You will also take ownership of contract negotiation, pricing strategy, and documentation accuracy, ensuring alignment across all functional teams. Working in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment, you will help shape agreements that directly support advancements in global healthcare and clinical research. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in structured, cross-functional environments with strong client interaction.

Accountabilities:

  • Lead the end-to-end Request for Proposal (RFP) process, from receipt and analysis through to submission, ensuring timely, high-quality, and compliant proposal delivery aligned with internal governance and client requirements.
  • Coordinate with subject matter experts and cross-functional stakeholders to develop competitive proposals, budgets, and study strategies while identifying risks and implementing mitigation plans.
  • Manage contract development activities, including drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and finalizing agreements in collaboration with legal, finance, operations, and business development teams.
  • Define and maintain account-specific contract frameworks, including pricing structures, payment terms, and standardized contractual language to ensure consistency and compliance.
  • Lead client-facing discussions and negotiations related to proposals, budgets, and contract terms, ensuring alignment between operational feasibility and client expectations.
  • Maintain accurate documentation across systems for reporting, KPIs, financial tracking, and audit readiness, ensuring transparency and data integrity across all processes.
  • Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Business, Languages, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
    • 4–6 years of experience in proposals, contracts, or bid management, ideally within a CRO, pharmaceutical, or clinical research environment.
    • Strong understanding of clinical trial operations, global study execution, and associated regulatory and commercial considerations.
    • Solid knowledge of contract management principles, pricing structures, budgeting processes, and revenue recognition concepts.
    • Experience working with CRM or proposal systems such as Salesforce or similar platforms.
    • Excellent analytical, organizational, and multitasking skills with strong attention to detail.
    • Strong communication skills, with the ability to draft, negotiate, and present complex contractual information clearly in English.
    • Proven ability to collaborate effectively across diverse global stakeholders in a deadline-driven environment.
