Role Desciption

As a Proposal Engineer for Crusher Liners, you will be part of a globally connected Consumables Proposal Team. You will be responsible for developing technical and commercial proposals for liner solutions, supporting customers in optimizing crusher performance, wear life, and total cost of ownership through application‑focused engineering and value‑driven offerings.

Responsibilities

• Review customer inquiries and tender documents, identifying technical requirements, assumptions, clarifications, and deviations.
• Prepare detailed technical and commercial proposals for crusher liner solutions (cone, gyratory, and jaw crushers).
• Define application‑specific liner configurations based on ore characteristics, operating conditions, and performance targets.
• Develop bills of materials, cost estimates, and proposal schedules to ensure accuracy and competitiveness.
• Coordinate technical and commercial inputs with Sales, Engineering, Product Line Management, Purchasing, and Estimation teams.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of standard proposal templates and consumables offerings.
• Collaborate across regions and functions to meet proposal deadlines and customer expectations.

What you bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mining Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• 4–8 years of experience with crushing equipment; experience with crusher liners or wear parts is a strong advantage.
• Solid understanding of crusher applications, liner materials, wear mechanisms, and mining operational drivers.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, bills of materials, and parts lists.
• Experience with proposal preparation in both local and international environments.
• Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and technical accuracy.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills and ability to collaborate with global, cross‑functional teams.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities independently while adhering to processes and deadlines.
