Job Description

• The proposal manager is responsible for all technical aspects of a project from initial request stage to firm binding commitment with our client.
• On large projects, he / She is working in collaboration with a sales manager who oversees commercial, legal and fiscal aspects, and possibly with a fronting proposal manager (depending on the level of experience and seniority).
• He / She will be getting support from other process experts in our technology direction, to guarantee adequate technology, references, and performances are offered to our clients. He analyses technical RFQ from the client; he / She is supporting the fronting proposal manager in all technical exchanges with the client. He / She coordinates with various specialists (thermal and mechanical design, structures, electricity, instrumentation, quality control, …) and partners or sub-contractors.
• In a view to establishing cost price, he / She will be responsible of the bill of materials and quantities, based on general arrangement drawings and process diagrams (PID’s) supervised by the process proposal manager. When an order is signed, he / She will be handling the project transfer to the execution team. He / She will be chasing internal returns of experience to be integrated into future proposals.
