Proposal Manager
Reporting to theDirector, ProposalsSolutionsin the Sales Operations group, the positionfocusesonsupportingmultiplebusiness unitswithin a Shared Service environment Thesuccessful candidatewill be a key member of theProposalSolutionsteam by planning, developing and producing all proposal deliverables required by the solicitation. You should also be able to provide a hands-on approach to the entire proposal development processes, including but not limited to identification of team member roles and responsibilities, development of outlines and delegation of assignments, monitoring and drivingtimelines, ensuring compliance, and all other aspects of producing a winning proposal.
Thecandidatewill work withmultiple stake holders to program manage the proposal effort, to ensure that proposals reflect the best technical, management, and price offerings that Curtiss-Wright can make to get to a winning position on RFQs and RFPs
Location:Remote (USA)
Salary Range: $ 108,900 - 135,000 per year plus bonus

Your Challenge:
Responds to RFQ/RFP releases and other calls for proposals; Drives proposal development individually and manages proposalstakeholderteams to ensure proposals meet all customer requirements; prepares and assists in submission of proposals to include review and compliance, outlining, and follow-through on compliant and timely proposal submissionwith appropriate approvals;
Organizes and leads bid review meetings, including bid/no bid, and ensures winning strategies are established and clearly conveyed in the submissionas required (competitive bids)
Provides direction for the preparation of the technical, management, and cost inputs to achieve a response in line with the RFP requirements and bid strategy
Leads and organizes ongoing proposal meetings to identify and resolve problems and share information
Leads the assembly and production of a complete submission which meets all RFP requirements
Leads or participates in kick-off meetings; oversees team's effort through the writing process; oversees proposal reviews; obtains management and corporate approvals; and follows through on compliant and timely proposal submission
Manages multiple bids and proposals with dynamic priorities
Leads or supports process improvement initiatives
What you Bring
University degree in Engineering, Business Management, Finance, or equivalent experience
Experience inproject management is mandatory,with a minimumof7-10years related experience.
Strong knowledgeofAviation/Aerospace market and customer base is mandatory
Proficient in Microsoft Office business applications
Proficient in ERP(SAP),MS DynamicsCRM, or equivalents is desired but not mandatory
Strong skills in planning, problem solving,critical thinking,analysis, and research
Excellent written and oral communication
Team leadership skills and experienceand provenability to work within a team;an active listener,collaborative,forward leaning, and influential
Balanced business perspective
Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadline requirements with minimal supervision
