Proposal Engineer Intern position for 2026. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented undergraduate or graduate electrical engineering major with coursework and/or experience in electrical distribution systems and relay protection. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, collaborate with professionals, and contribute to real-world engineering projects.

Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Assist in reviewing customer inquiries, RFQs (Request for Quotations), RFPs (Request for Proposals), and tender documents.
  • Support the preparation of technical offer e.g technical drawings, specifications, and documentation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, procurement, project managers, commercial project manager and logistic.
  • Help prepare compliance matrices, technical submittals, and proposal documentation.
  • Ensure proposals are completed accurately and submitted within specified deadlines.
  • Assist in preparing post-bid clarifications and customer responses.
  • Organization, preparation, attendance, evaluation and documentation for the prequalification activities
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and engineering codes.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering discipline.
  • Strong academic background with interest in sales engineering, tendering, and proposal management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks.
  • Basic understanding of costing and commercial concepts.
