Proposal Engineer – Medium Voltage Switchgear

Responsibilities

• Drive Medium Voltage (11kV to 52kV) switchgear sales across the Hong Kong and Macau markets.
• Build and maintain relationships with existing and prospective customers to identify and develop sales opportunities.
• Liaise with factories to drive technical development aligned with local market requirements.
• Collaborate with the German headquarters on portfolio updates and monitor market development trends.
• Develop and present comprehensive technical and commercial proposals in accordance with customer requirements.
• Support contract finalization in close coordination with the Contract Manager.
• Respond in a timely manner to customer technical and commercial enquiries and tenders.
• Provide variation offers to support project execution as required. Support the project execution with variation offers where required.
• Work cross-functionally with Operations, Finance, Procurement, and Legal, and comply with the Company's IMS and compliance requirements.

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or in engineering discipline.
• 2 years of relevant experience in electrical or power engineering/ other engineering field is also welcome
• Prior experience in sales or business development, preferably within the Power Utilities sector in a multinational environment.
• Knowledge of HV/MV switchgear, protection systems, and SHEQ system implementation is an advantage.
• Excellent communications and presentation skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and/or Mandarin).
