As a Proposal Engineer, you'll play a pivotal role in enhancing company performance and our ability to serve customers by leading projects from opportunity identification through successful execution. You'll manage both field-based and shop-based projects, ensuring high-quality work, safety, and customer satisfaction while driving additional business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate customer needs and develop competitive proposals for work opportunities in rotating equipment repair, maintenance, and related services.
• Oversee and support field/shop personnel during project execution at customer sites or in our facilities.
• Provide or secure technical expertise and oversight to maintain the highest standards of quality across all project participants.
• Coordinate procurement of materials, parts, and third-party services essential for successful project delivery.
• Facilitate clear, professional communication between Conhagen teams and customers, with thorough documentation.
• Support accurate and timely project billing processes.
• Act as a professional representative of Conhagen at all times, upholding our reputation for reliability and integrity.
• Collaborate with the sales team and customers to identify and secure additional work opportunities.
• Lead the development of new and extended-duration opportunities at customer locations.
• Develop creative, unique solutions tailored to customer challenges in rotating equipment and industrial applications.
• Mentor and support the technical development of skilled personnel in coordination with supervisors and management.
• Contribute to internal projects and initiatives under management direction to improve daily operations and overall efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in project management and proposal creation, preferably in industrial services, rotating equipment (pumps, turbines, compressors), field/shop repair, or related heavy industrial sectors.
• Strong technical aptitude with the ability to provide oversight and secure expertise as needed.
• Excellent coordination, communication, and documentation skills.
• Proficiency in procurement, vendor management, and billing support.
• Customer-focused mindset with the ability to build relationships and identify growth opportunities.
• Leadership experience in guiding teams and mentoring personnel.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites as required for field projects.
• Professional demeanor and commitment to safety and quality.
