Job Description

The Michels Preconstruction Services, Inc. team plays a critical role in the development of large, complex energy, infrastructure, marine and transportation projects. The Preconstruction Services team consists of construction and technical professionals working with one another and with customers to develop creative solutions for turning construction ideas into reliable outcomes. As a Proposal Coordinator, you will effectively communicate with Project Managers and Estimators to stay informed of project needs while helping satisfy the terms and conditions of bids and contracts with the customer. Maintain detailed and organized bids and job files. Assist with the preparation, review and submittal of bids, contracts, RFIs and reports in accordance with division and company policies and procedures.

What it takes:

  • Associates or Bachelor’s degree, 2+ years experience in related field
  • Experience or familiarity with proposal processes, as well as an exposure to the construction industry
  • Analyzing RFP requirements to ensure compliance with submission guidelines and deadlines
  • Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously
  • Ability to foster relationships and work collaboratively in a teamwork manner
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
