Job Description

The Opportunity

We are currently seeking a talented and enthusiastic coop student for our Toronto office who will assist in realizing a number of important projects both in the public and private sector. The intimate size of our Toronto office will allow the coop student an unusual opportunity of exposure to all aspects of working in an architectural firm whilst having creative autonomy. As Proposal Coordinator, you will be a creative and innovative member of the firm's marketing team. Reporting to the GTA Marketing Lead, you will collaborate with technical, management and production staff to plan, develop and produce clear and compelling proposal submissions. You will use your strong attention to detail and organizational skills to distill complex submission requirements into a clear set of tasks and responsibilities. By contributing to and organizing collateral databases, you will consistently improve the efficiency of the wider proposal team.

A day in the life:

  • Supports the firm in developing timely, high-quality and competitive proposals in response to RFPs;
  • Designs visual aids in Adobe InDesign;
  • Coordinates consultant submissions, customizes project profiles and team information;
  • Compiles and lays out proposal documents using InDesign;
  • Proofreads and edits proposal documents, ensuring compliance with requests;
  • Coordinates proposal printing and/or delivery;
  • Updates marketing collateral databases; ensuring valid, current and accurate content, including proposal narratives, staff resumes, and project profiles.

We'd love to hear from you if you are:

  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree in Architecture or a related field of study.
  • A self-started, a motivated, organized, and hardworking;
  • Able to take constructive criticism and apply what he/she learned
  • Able to take direction well with minimal supervision and is independent
  • Able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines while meeting quality and on-time delivery;
  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills, including editing and proofreading abilities;
  • Excellent attention to detail;
  • Strong understanding of graphic design principles;
  • Proficient with InDesign and document layout. Experience with Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite is required.

Compensation:


AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT: $24.00 – $32.25
MB & ON: $22.50 – $30.25
NB, NL, NS, PEI & QC: $21.50 – $30.25

The final salary awarded for this role may vary from the above range based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs. The wage range provided in this job posting may be subject to change for business purposes.
