Proposal Analyst

Department: Solutions Consultant Leadership

Employment Type: Permanent - Full Time

Location: India - Resident (0008)

Reporting To: May Yin-Liao


As part of the Solution Advisory team within Sales, the Proposal Analyst will coordinate and facilitate the response process for proposals. Proposal documents may include Request For Proposal (RFPs), Request For Information (RFIs), Request For Quotation (RFQ) and other questionnaires and strategic proposals as required. This role will be pivotal in supporting the Sales and Customer Success teams and help drive Vena’s growth and revenue targets through successful bid proposals.

How You'll Make an Impact

  • Evaluate procurement requests for company and product fit, ensuring bid proposals are set up for success
  • Facilitate the process for any RFP/RFI/RFQ and other strategic proposal responses to ensure timely delivery of quality responses
  • Work closely with technical staff, sales, customer success managers (CSMs) and marketing leadership to convey Vena's value propositions and differentiating approach into compelling proposals
  • Collaborate with procurement managers at the prospective client, if required
  • Assist in project management responsibilities including development of submission plans, business requirements, and marketing collateral development
  • Critically review proposal documents for consistency, quality, and accuracy before sending to prospects
  • Support the maintenance of our response content portal (Loopio), templates and marketing collateral

We'd Love to See

  • Relevant post-secondary education and/or equivalent experience
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office / Google Doc skills
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Strong project management skills
  • Ability to deliver high quality responses within aggressive timelines
  • 1-2 years experience responding to procurement requests, with a proven track record in enterprise software or similar solutions is an asset
  • 1-2 years experience managing projects including identifying requirements, setting project plans, and managing project deliverables on time and in scope is an asset
  • A proven top performer with a diligent work ethic and willingness to go the extra mile to ensure success
  • Experience with RFP response software (Preferably Loopio)
  • Accounting or Finance experience is an asset
