In this role, you'll:


Work with our Property Team at Sydney Metro to provide specialist property advice, including the management of various land, property transactions and acquisitions. You will support the delivery objectives of Sydney Metro's Property & Place functional division.

You will be responsible for the management of property transactions including but not limited to freehold, leasehold and substratum related matters, easements, leases & licences and other property tenure related matters. You will also be responsible for the management of commercial negotiations as well as working closely with external service providers such as surveyors, legal firms and property valuation firms.

You will be joining a vibrant and collaborative team of experienced Property professionals and the role is for a period of approximately 12 months until February 2027.

About you


You are an experienced Property professional having worked within a major public infrastructure project, preferably within a NSW government environment.

You have property transaction and acquisitions related experience, strong knowledge and understanding of the NSW Land Acquisition (Just Terms Compensation) Act 1991 and experience in a variety of property tenure and transaction related matters.

You have experience in commercial negotiations with a variety of stakeholders and a strong understanding of the conveyance process.

Professional membership with an Australian affiliated real estate body (i.e. Australian Property Institute (API), Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) would be highly regarded.
