Job Description

  • Administer and provide first level responses to the Property and Procurement requests
  • Hybrid work model – 80% work from home, plus travel to our hub offices and services in the Western, Northern and Inner Suburbs of Melbourne
  • Part- time, permanent position - 3 to 4 days per week - flexibility with days and hours
  • Up to pro rata of $80K per annum, plus Super and NFP salary sacrifice benefits (up to $15,900 and $2,650 annually), subject to experience

What You’ll Do

  • Administer and provide first level responses to the Property and Procurement requests using the JIRA ticketing system
  • Set up and maintain systems and templates for the administration of the Corporate Services functions - Property, Procurement, IT equipment and Grant management
  • Build relationships with our key stakeholders, including the staff members at our 40+ kindergartens, the Local Government Authorities, the Education Department and suppliers
  • Drive for process improvement and increased efficiency
  • Work for an historic and well established for-purpose Early Years Management organisation with a focus on mission led growth

What You’ll Bring

  • Demonstrated experience administering Property and Procurement functions
  • Ability to travel to all services and offices, when required, which will mean having a valid driver license and access to a reliable car - travel expenses reimbursement provided
  • Competent to expert in the use of Excel and data analysis and in using Microsoft SharePoint
  • Strong relationship management and customer service approach
  • Experience in working in a busy, multitasking environment.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail.

About The Royal Children's Hospital

The Royal Children's Hospital (RCH) has been providing outstanding care for Victoria's children and their families for over 147 years.

We are the major specialist paediatric hospital in Victoria and our care extends to children from Tasmania, southern New South Wales and other states around Australia and overseas.

With a passionate, highly skilled and committed staff campus wide of over 5,000, we provide a full range of clinical services, tertiary care and health promotion and prevention programs for children and young people.

We are the designated state-wide major trauma centre for paediatrics in Victoria and a Nationally Funded Centre for cardiac and liver transplantation.

When it comes to training and research we partner with the very best. Our campus partners, the Murdoch Childrens Research Institute (MCRI) and The University of Melbourne Department of Paediatrics, along with the RCH Foundation, are on site with the hospital in Parkville. Together, we are committed to improving the health outcomes for children today and in the future.

In 2016–17, more than 85,654 children attended our Emergency Department, 322,291 specialist clinic appointments were held which was almost 70,000 more than the previous year, more than 17,000 surgeries were performed and more than 48,552 children were admitted to our wards.
