THE ROLE
As a Property Officer, you’ll join our fantastic Whiddon family at Beaudesert, in the Scenic Rim region, on a Permanent part-time basis, working Monday to Friday 8:00AM to 4:00PM
In this role, you will lead and support the maintenance team in delivering essential services by coordinating preventative and reactive maintenance, prioritizing daily tasks, and overseeing repairs across building, plant, and equipment. You will liaise with contractors for major works including building, fire, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC services, obtain quotes and approvals, and ensure all work is completed to required standards. You will also support compliance activities including fire safety duties, conduct inspections and troubleshooting, coordinate vehicle servicing, and manage maintenance supplies and procurement. Additionally, you will attend HOD meetings, provide maintenance updates, monitor contractor performance, and ensure accurate documentation to support a safe, compliant, and well-maintained environment for residents and staff.
