About the role

The New Store Development Manager leads the planning, development, and operational readiness of new commercial spaces within existing or new properties. This role ensures that new spaces meet business, operational, and customer requirements while aligning with strategic goals. The manager coordinates cross-functional teams and external partners to deliver high-quality, timely, and cost-effective space openings.

You will be responsible for

  • Leading the end-to-end process of new space development from concept to handover.
  • Coordinating with design, construction, and operations teams to align on space requirements.
  • Managing project timelines, budgets, and quality standards for new space openings.
  • Collaborating with leasing and commercial teams to integrate tenant needs into planning.
  • Overseeing fit-out and technical readiness of new spaces.
  • Conducting risk assessments and implementing mitigation strategies.
  • Monitoring compliance with safety, legal, and operational standards.
  • Engaging with external contractors, consultants, and authorities as needed.
  • Preparing and presenting progress reports to senior stakeholders.
  • Driving continuous improvement in space delivery processes.
  • Aligning new space development with sustainability and accessibility goals.
  • Managing documentation and approvals throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Facilitating smooth handover to operations and facility management teams.
  • Tracking post-opening performance and identifying areas for optimization.
  • Supporting strategic planning for future space development initiatives.


You will need

  • Higher education
  • Min. 3-5 years of relevant working experience
  • Upper-intermediate level of English language knowledge
  • MS Office
  • Proven experience in managing complex property or construction projects involving multiple stakeholders and disciplines.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills
  • Knowledge of construction, fit-out, and property operations
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination abilities
  • Budgeting and cost control
