Job Title: Property Mapper Clerk

Starting Rate: $16.00 per hour
Dauphin County Tax Assessment is currently accepting applications for the full-time position of Property Mapper Clerk The overall objective of the employee in this position is to maintain cadastral maps to ensure the integrity of the Dauphin County real property tax maps through plotting of parcels by reading deeds and plans as provided. The Property Mapper Clerk is also responsible for secondary office responsibilities. The Property Mapper Clerk serves as the Secondary office receptionist for the public area, including but not limited to the following responsibilities: greeting visitors, serves as a phone operator, attends to in-person and telephone inquiries within the framework of established office policy, and assists visitors in the public area with PC-based questions and with PC operations as needed. The employee in this role is also responsible for the additional duties listed below.
OTHER DUTIES OF THE JOB
Performs Uniform Parcel Identifier certification – document review prior to recording with the Recorder of Deed’s Office utilizing PC with DEVNET-proprietary software.
