Property Manager

$70,000–$100,000 Base + Company Car

We are seeking an experienced Property Manager to oversee a portfolio of residential properties in the Bronx. This individual will be responsible for the day-to-day management of building operations, ensuring properties are well-maintained, residents receive excellent service, and operational issues are resolved efficiently.

The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and experienced in residential property management, with the ability to manage vendors, building staff, tenant concerns, and maintenance operations while maintaining high service standards.

Ideal Candidate

We're looking for a hands-on Property Manager with prior residential property management experience who is comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, highly organized, and able to build positive relationships with tenants, vendors, and ownership.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of a portfolio of residential properties.
• Coordinate maintenance requests and ensure timely resolution.
• Supervise building staff, vendors, and contractors.
• Conduct regular property inspections to ensure buildings are well maintained.
• Respond to tenant concerns and provide excellent customer service.
• Coordinate repairs, preventative maintenance, and capital improvement projects.
• Monitor building expenses and assist with operating budgets.
• Ensure compliance with local housing regulations and safety requirements.
• Work closely with ownership to improve operational efficiency and tenant satisfaction.
• Handle emergency situations as needed.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of residential property management experience required.
• Strong knowledge of building operations and maintenance.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
• Experience working with vendors and contractors.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with property management software is a plus.
