Job Description

The Job

  • Oversee daily mall operations, including facilities, security, cleaning, and maintenance
  • Ensure compliance with lease terms, HKHS policies, tenancy regulations, and statutory requirements
  • Handle tenant and stakeholder enquiries and complaints professionally
  • Monitor and manage contractors to meet service and quality standards
  • Support promotional events and implement crowd control and safety measures
  • Coordinate with leasing teams to support occupancy and tenant compliance
  • Manage emergencies and operational issues, deputising for the Manager when required
  • Supervise frontline staff and allocate duties to maintain service excellence

The Person

  • F.7 matriculant and completion of Year 2 of Diploma in Housing Management.
  • Degree or Diploma holders in relevant disciplines (Property Management, Housing Management, Facilities Management, Business Administration) preferred.
  • Minimum 7 years’ experience in property management.
  • Thorough experience in managing managed properties, and non-domestic premises is a definite advantage.
  • Conversant with Building Management Ordinance (BMO), Deed of Mutual Covenant (DMC), and relevant ordinances.
  • Good knowledge of property management concepts and maintenance affairs.
  • Strong customer service, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
  • Good influencing and negotiation skills; able to express ideas precisely, systematically, and clearly in both written and spoken Cantonese and English.
  • Effective supervisory skills; proactive, able to cope with stress and work pressure.
  • Candidate with less experience will be considered as Assistant Manager (Property Management)

Established in 1948, the Hong Kong Housing Society (HKHS) is an independent and not-for-profit organisation dedicated to providing quality housing for the people of Hong Kong. The Management, led by the Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director, is accountable for the implementation of the strategies in business operations.
