About the role

HOW IS WORKING IN THE PROPERTY TEAM SPECIAL?

We are driven by a single focus – to serve our shoppers a little better. We work with our Retail colleagues as well as with other stakeholders to achieve customer satisfaction. From potential building sites to maintaining shops – it’s our responsibility to look at every aspect to ensure store functionality.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • You are responsible for the smooth preparation and execution of store modernization and the project management and construction of new facilities.
  • You prepare detailed project schedules and timelines and are responsible for their delivery.
  • You communicate and coordinate the business expectations with developers
  • Together with the cost consultant, you are responsible for the construction budget.
  • You manage contractors, the investor’s technical supervision team, refurbishment coordinators, designers, and the refurbishment project team.
  • You communicate the exact scope of work within required deadlines and coordinate deliveries accordingly.
  • You oversee the resolution of project non-compliance and outstanding works.
  • You liaise with operations and other departments across the company.
  • You organize and lead meetings and site inspections related to stores modernizations and new construction projects.
  • You supervise construction works as well as interior fit-out and equipment deliveries.
  • Together with other stakeholders, you ensure the successful handover and occupancy approval of completed construction projects.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

  • Secondary school or university degree in a technical field (civil engineering/architecture).
  • Minimum 3-5 years of practical experience in the construction industry, particularly in construction project management.
  • Basic knowledge of local technical standards and construction regulations.
  • Experience in project management.
  • Experience in leading and managing teams.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Valid Category B driving license.
  • English language proficiency at an intermediate level or higher (minimum B2).
  • Good user-level knowledge of MS Office applications.
